A compact Transmatch meter designed for measuring v.s.w.r. and power, and also incorporating an antenna matcher.
This instrument encloses into the same box instruments essential to the proper operation of a transceiving station. In fact, the uniting of an SWR meter with a Wattmeter and an impedance adapter solves all problems in installing and operating a CB station. The sockets of the cables to the transceiver and to the aerial are placed behind the instrument. To measure the SWR, position the 4 control on SWR, and 1 control on DIR, we go into transmission by RTX and the SET knob is regulated until the pointer of the instrument is on the full scale. Position the 1 control on REFL, then the other instrument shall indicate the SWR present in the system. The said SWR may be erased by tuning 6 and 7 controls. In this manner, the system is perfectly adjusted and any possibility of TVI is, moreover, reduced to the minimum.
Wattmeter capacities are 2 (namely 10 W – 100 W) which may be selected by the suitable switch.
