Description
Without compromising on power or functionality, the RS-918 transceiver is built for exploration, allowing you to operate from previously inaccessible locations. The RS-918 is a lightweight and portable HF transceiver that may be used on the go or in the field. You can hold the entire globe in your hand with this very small radio. This compact radio has all the functionality of much bigger radios, including amateur bands (1.8–30 MHz), all modes (SSB, CW, AM, Data), and a maximum power output of 15 watts. Features such as auto-notch, noise reduction, an integrated panoramic LCD, and RX/TX EQ establish the radio as a genuine desktop radio. Optional battery life at full power can be extended for a long time because of the combination of a built-in battery’s low current drain and the device’s long run time.
The RS-918 may be adapted to suit your preferences thanks to its many available extras. The RS-918 has all the bells and whistles a HAM could want, whether they’re using it to work uncommon DX from home or to bag a new peak during a SOTA expedition.
The Kit Includes:
HM-918 Hand Microphone |
PL-918 DC Power Cable |
MB-918 Mounting Bracket |
SH-918 Side Handles |
It is possible to work from any location because of the RS-918’s portable design. You may use it on a desk or a picnic table thanks to the rear tilt stand. The adjustable keyer paddle, lightweight battery pack, and external wide-range ATU take portability to the next level (all optional accessories can be supplied, please ask). A whip antenna allows for portable operation. The maximum current drain in receive mode is 410 mA. Battery life is also enhanced by the high transmit efficiency. The RS-918 is packed with functionality but has a user-friendly interface thanks to its wide front panel and well-placed buttons.
This radio comes with the following accessories by default: HM-918 Hand Microphone, PL-918 DC Power Cable, Attached Desktop Stand, SH-918 Side Handles, and BNC-SO239 Adapter. The radio is shipped from Glasgow, UK.
