Description
A small radio that can be used in a car where there is not a lot of free space in the radio console. The radio station is really very small – a little thicker and more than the famous UV-5R, but at the same time it provides up to 25 watts of RF output power.
The display can be set to many different backlight colors for the top line, middle line and bottom line. It is legible even in bright sunlight but is not visible through polarized sunglasses You can place custom information on the start screen and the bottom line such as your contact information, callsign, etc. By default, the bottom line shows the model name transceiver.
The radio station is capable to receive and display on the display four channels at the same time, in the Quad Standby mode. If you set your main channel A (A/B/C/D) and a signal is received on channel C, the transceiver will switch the “main” marker to channel C at the time you set, after which it returns to the main channel (in this case A).
