For best results connect directly to the transmitter through the N-type plug. If no patch cable is used, this direct connection keeps losses to a minimum and reduces SWR. Cooling is accomplished by a finned aluminium air-cooled heatsink. Note that the higher the power the shorter time it should be connected.
