This equipment boasts a combination of stainless hardware and UV resistant materials. Its End-Fed Horizontal Wires (EFHW) efficiently cover multiple bands without the need for traps, stubs, or resonators. Additionally, the end-fed radiators have the special ability to resonate on both odd and even harmonics above the 1/2-wave fundamental frequency.
With the introduction of a wide-range matching transformer at the feed point, you gain access to the full HF spectrum. The low SWR eliminates the need for a tuner, making installation quick and easy, whether at home, on the road, or in emergency situations. Additionally, our durable insulated-wire radiator ensures that contacting limbs and branches won’t disrupt your signal. And for extra convenience, the “no-snag” end insulator easily slides over branches and through foliage without causing any hang-ups.
Elevate your EFHW to create an inverted-V or a sloper, and for maximum height, try an inverted-L in a vertical position. The dark jacketed wire used is nearly undetectable. With increasingly severe weather conditions, the EFHW serves as a reliable backup for your primary antenna. Our power ratings are measured in Watts PEP for SSB/CW modes, with a transmit time of 50% or less (ICAS). Every network is meticulously designed and tested to guarantee exceptional performance in various operating circumstances.
