The Apartment Antenna is a versatile option as it allows for operation on 40 through 10 meters on HF and 6 and 2 meters on VHF, all with just one antenna. With its universal mount/clamp, attaching it to various surfaces such as window frames, balconies, or railings is a breeze. It can even be used indoors by mounting it to a desk, table, or bookshelf.
While not a five-element yagi, this antenna will still provide you with the opportunity to reach thrilling DX contacts. Its efficient air wound bug catcher loading coil and telescoping 5 1/2 foot radiator allow for excellent transmission capabilities. Plus, for convenience, the radiator easily collapses down to 2 1/2 feet for storage and transportation purposes.
It includes coaxing RF to choke balun, a coax feed line, counterpoise wire and safety rope. The operating frequency is adjusted by moving the wander lead on the coil and adjusting the counterpoise for the best SWR.
