Description

The antenna is capable of functioning across all frequencies within the 1.8 – 54 MHz band without the need for adjustment when paired with modern external antenna tuners. It does not require masts or guying for installation and can be successfully used with support from trees, masts, vehicle roofs, or any other suitable structure. For optimum performance, the antenna should be elevated to a moderate height. However, in cases where no support is available, it can still radiate (albeit with reduced efficiency) when lying on the ground.

The radiation pattern of the antenna has a significant vertical component at all frequencies, making it ideal for NVIS applications.
