It can be assembled in less than 60 seconds even with thick winter gloves on. It is directional, pack-able into less than 25% of the space of any other, and at 1.3 kg (3 pounds), which includes Tripod, Bag, and Antenna, it is the lightest Complete Magnetic Loop ever made.
The Multiband Loop is the only manufactured Magnetic Loop antenna that is also optimized to maximize Magnetic Loop properties on 20 – 40 meters, while then acting as a small transmitting loop on 10 – 17 meters. To enable the highly desirable properties of a Magnetic Loop Antenna, the circumference of this antenna’s outer loop is slightly smaller than 1/10 of a wavelength for 20 meters. All other manufactured loops do not meet the 1/10 Magnetic Loop design standard on 10-30 meters.
